International Union of Police Assns.

The only AFL-CIO chartered union that exclusively represents law enforcement personnel. All members are full time employees of law enforcement agencies.

All union officers are either active or retired law enforcement employees.

Members are provided assistance in bargaining contracts regarding wages, benefits, and work conditions. The I.U.P.A. provides legal services and training as well as numerous economic benefits through the Union Privilege program.
